About Me

I'm a voracious learner and naturally curious, which leads me to do things where I am constantly growing. I believe that proper education has the potential to change the world, which is why I have devoted my professional life to education. I have been teaching for 12+ years in multiple disciplines, specifically in Theatre, English, and Special Education. I have held leadership positions, including Arts Department Head and Teacher-in-Charge. Currently, I am looking for an opportunity to work in education in the Netherlands!

In my personal life, I spend my time by volunteering with Project5 First Nation; trying new things such as getting my Scuba diving license; adopting dogs; and teaching myself to read music. I also enjoy challenging myself by doing daily yoga.

"Project First Nations is a not-for-profit organization that connects indigenous with non-indigenous youth through the implementation of educational initiatives such as sports, arts, and social programs. We aim to create a bridge between the youth who reside in urban Canada with youth who live in remote First Nation communities across the country. We dream of One Canada with equality of opportunity. Together, we can advance reconciliation and national unity by allowing our youth to become leaders.

We do not have paid staff. Everyone involved, from adult supervisors to youth leaders, is a volunteer. To learn more about our programs, please peruse our site and visit the social media platforms in which we are present.
